If you are unsatisfied with your images, please contact me to return them for a refund (less shipping). I want you to love your photos.

Image Quality

Your images are processed personally, we don't send them off to a lab. All images are personally cropped and processed to ensure a memorable image. On the water images are especially challenging and deserve the special attention of someone who was there to take the image.
Images are printed with a professional art quality pigment printer using professional paper. We use glossy for 4x6/5x7 images and luster (semi-gloss) for larger prints. Print size: 8x10s are actually 8.25x10.75.
Need some Photoshop magic to remove love handles or bald spots. Just ask, I won't tell.
Preview gallery images are created using auto adjust everything and often look like it (again, especially with images taken on the water). Gallery images are not a final representation of your image.

Why Do I Do This?

Sailing photos create sailing memories that promote the sport. If you have a wall of trophy photos dedicated to your history of sailing, then we both have something in common. If you know me from racing inshore or offshore, you know that promoting the sport is important to me. Memorable photos are a way of doing that. Plus, taking photos keeps me out of the protest room.

Enlargements: Yes, I do these on a custom basis. Please call to discuss the image you are interested in and it's proposed placement in your home.

On Minnetonka and local regattas I use my 1963 Cruisers Inc powerboat. We like it because it's lightweight wood construction and non-v hull design makes a minimal wake while shooting photos. The back of the boat also has a nice truck-like space that's ideal for shooting and hauling kids. Cruisers are part of the Thompson/T&T family of boats made in eastern WI near Lake Michigan.
